An honest debt-payoff tool that models how your lenders actually work — store-card promos, deferred interest, Equal Pay, intro APR windows, all of it.
Manage it through the web, or talk to it through Claude.ai. No bank logins, no credentials, no upsells. You bring the numbers. We provide the engine.
Designed for the real-world mess — eight cards, two loans, three promos, payments due on different days. DebtEngines makes that legible.
Add a debt in 30 seconds with a nickname like “Blue Card”. No bank logins, no credentials. DebtEngines stores nothing a hacker could use to drain your account.
When you have eight cards and three loans running in parallel, knowing what's due when is half the battle. A unified calendar shows every upcoming payment, color-coded by what's already paid this cycle.
That Synchrony 0% you forgot about. The intro APR that expires next month. DebtEngines surfaces them on your dashboard with the dollar-amount risk attached — no surprise retroactive-interest hits.
Avalanche vs Snowball. Cards-only vs everything. With $200 extra vs $500 extra. See total interest, total months, and the exact debt-free date for each — running on YOUR debts, not a generic example.
Most debt apps assume every loan is the same. DebtEngines models the messy reality — and shows you the truth instead of the math you wish were true.
Some auto-loan servicers (notably Wells Fargo Auto) hold extra payments as “paid ahead” instead of reducing principal. Other apps still show you fake savings. DebtEngines lets you flag those lenders and routes your extra dollars to debts where they actually save interest.
Store cards (Synchrony, CareCredit, Best Buy) often hide a retroactive-interest bomb behind their 0% offers — pay $1 short by the deadline and you owe interest from the purchase date. DebtEngines shows the dollar amount at risk on every active promo, with a clear deadline countdown.
Synchrony bills your promo installment instead of the regular minimum (one combined payment). Citi Flex Pay bills it on top of the regular minimum (two stacked payments). Get the wrong model and you can void the promo. DebtEngines computes your real cycle minimum correctly, every time.
Want to commit a fixed $80/month to a specific card to clear a promo before the deadline? Set a monthlyCommitment on that card. DebtEngines takes it out of the cascade, pays the committed amount on autopilot, and floods the freed cash to your other debts when it's done.
DebtEngines ships with a Claude.ai connector. Ask questions in plain language, get honest answers grounded in your real data.

⚡ Save 20 minutes of setup
You ask:
“Add my Chase Sapphire ($4,250 / $10K limit / 24.99% APR), my Citi Costco ($2,065 / $5K / 22.99%), and my Wells Fargo Auto ($38K / 1.99%, 62 months left).”
Claude answers:
Walks through each debt in sequence, asks for nicknames (never stores card numbers — DebtEngines privacy rule), and creates all three in under a minute. Manually clicking through 8+ debts in a form takes 15-20 minutes; with Claude it's a single message.
You ask:
“Run avalanche vs snowball with $200 extra and tell me which saves more.”
Claude answers using your data:
Lists both projections, flags the deferred-interest deadline on your store card, recommends the strategy with the math to back it up.
You ask:
“Which of my two highest-rate cards should I attack first?”
Claude answers:
Compares the two by APR, balance, and any active promos. Tells you which saves more interest at your current budget — and flags if a deadline changes the answer.
You ask:
“Optimize my commitments and show me the savings.”
Claude answers:
Proposes per-debt commitment changes with a before/after projection. You approve. It applies them. Nothing happens without your green light.
You ask:
“Send feedback that the avalanche order on my Citi card looks wrong.”
Claude answers:
Confirms the subject + body, submits a support ticket, returns the ticket ID, and notes that the team responds within 48 hours. Real human reply lands in your inbox.
Always asks first before any destructive action — your data stays exactly where you want it.
Never auto-shares your data with third parties. Privacy promise applies to the AI too.
Use it or skip it — every AI feature has a web equivalent. Pick whichever fits the moment.
Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Compatible with Claude.ai today; more clients (ChatGPT, Cursor) on the roadmap.
No bank logins. No card numbers. No last-4 digits. No routing numbers. The privacy approach isn't marketing — it's a deliberate engineering choice.
If extra payments won't reduce your principal at your lender, we tell you. If a promo's about to expire with a balance, we tell you the dollar risk. No optimistic projections, no buried caveats.
You type your balance yourself. That psychological check-in keeps you accountable in a way no automated app can replicate — and means we never need access to your accounts.
A note from the founder.

Eyzen Medina
Founder
Hi — I'm Eyzen. I'm a Cuban-American software engineer in Florida with a deep background in DevOps — which is why the privacy approach in DebtEngines isn't accidental. I built this on nights and weekends, fully self-funded.
I built it because the existing debt tools weren't honest about how lenders actually work. They modeled every loan as if extra payments reduced principal, every promo as if you'd clear it on time, every minimum payment as if it kept you on track. None of those are reliably true. People I cared about were getting crushed by the math underneath, and no tool I tried was willing to show them what was really happening.
So I built one that does.
DebtEngines is English-only today, with Spanish on the roadmap. My goal isn't to build a billion-dollar app. It's to help as many people as I can get out of debt with their dignity intact, on real numbers, with no one selling them something on the side.
$30 a year. Less than a coffee a quarter. No surprises.
Memberships cover real costs: servers, database hosting, email delivery, domain, security tooling, and the time it takes to keep building features. None of that is free. Your subscription is what lets DebtEngines exist without ads, data sales, or a venture-capital exit plan dictating the roadmap.
We store your name, email, debt nicknames, and the numbers you give us. We never store bank credentials, account numbers, routing numbers, or anything a hacker could use to drain your account. We don't sell your data. Ever.
